Dataside began in June of 1999 as Collocation Solutions. Their approach to enterprise data center space was unique and very successful within the I.D.C. sector. Collocation Solutions opened six new data centers in the span of eight years. Collocation Solutions acquired a network services provider, COMDEPOT, in February 2004. The company expanded their product line to include WAN network services and managed communications.
In November of 2005 Collocation Solutions changed their name to Dataside to express their breadth of capabilities and their expanded product set. Today, in addition to collocation, Dataside offers an extensive variety of services such as Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), and WAN solutions such as frame relay, private line, MPLS, VPLS, and VPN.
